WSS Business Update
Firstly I would like to say how delighted I am to have joined WSS. The Company ethos to truly understand the client and candidate, along with the priority objective to drive ‘accuracy in delivery’, really attracted me to the role. I fully endorse the intimate engagement model and the ‘specialist boutique status’. I also absolutely believe in our positioning to assist our clients in overcoming the challenges faced when hiring and retaining talent across their business operations today.
In terms of business performance, I am pleased to report we used the disrupted summer to good effect, despite its obvious uncertainties and well-being challenges for everyone concerned. We were able to review our business model and as a result we have some very exciting plans to execute in the coming weeks and months, all designed to strengthen and enhance the service we provide. It is testament to the business and the relationships we hold that we continued to operate extensively across all practices throughout the summer. To that end, and on behalf of the team here at WSS, I would like to acknowledge and express our heartfelt thanks to our Business Partners, candidates and our valued Clients. Without all of you I’m sure we would have been in a very different place as we commence the journey to the ‘new normal’.
A particular success of note during lockdown is our partnership with M7 Real Estate whereby WSS have been selected to manage M7’s inaugural Graduate Recruitment Scheme. We are extremely proud and excited by the appointment and look forward to the prospect of working ever more closely with our partners at M7. Undoubtedly the agreement has matured our existing delivery model and enhances its interest to others who do not have the internal resources, or choose, to manage their graduate recruitment intake through a partner. On another positive note, as of last Monday we have returned to the office on a full time basis and already we have started to see an upturn in terms of new roles across our various practices. We are hopeful the trend will be sustained, and in turn commit to continuing to service all requests diligently on behalf of those that are relying on us.
Finally, for now at least, I would like to sign off by saying how much I am looking forward to working with the clients of WSS. An objective I have set myself is to engage with as many clients as possible in the coming weeks and, in that regard, would welcome contact directly.
