per annumOur prestigious Real Estate client require a Data Architect to define the vision, strategy, and principles for the organisations data architecture and management. This will include defining how data (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured) will be stored, consumed, integrated, and managed.
Operating under the guidelines of the Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), the Data Architect is expected to set the data architecture principles, create models of data that enable the implementation of the intended business and solutions architecture, create diagrams showing key entities, and create an inventory of data needed to implement the architecture vision.
The Data Architect will develop a detailed knowledge of the underlying data and data products and become the SME on content, current and potential future uses of data, and the quality of data products.
You will have complete ownership of the entire data landscape of the organisation, responsible to define, own, develop, and curate the Enterprise Data Model (EDM). Review changes to the organisations architecture from a data point of view, providing technical governance on projects heavily reliant on data, interface with key stakeholders, lead on data designs, standards and patterns to ensure Business, Data, Application, and Technology (BDAT) are aligned in the wider Enterprise Architecture.
Throughout your career, you will have obtained a wealth of experience in information management, data warehousing and analytics technologies, to support tactical and strategic direction in the areas of business intelligence analytics, data mining and visualisation. Assessing the data quality and consistency across platforms and products, extending to modern cloud-based data warehousing, data lakes, and the integration of said solutions with the wider organisation’s data landscape.
